The Library offers study spaces, physical and electronic materials to support learning, and librarians to guide research and use of library materials. This page provides a snapshot of how students and patrons make use of our space and services.

Physical Loans

  • Students: 1333 book loans, 22 movie loans, 532 laptop loans, and 690 other equipment loans​
  • Staff: 208 book loans, 0 movie loans, 5 laptop loans, and 5 other equipment loans​
  • Faculty: 117 book loans, 1 movie loan, 1 laptop loan, and 28 other equipment loans​

Items Purchased by Collection

  • Main: 143 items purchased
  • Equipment: 66 items purchased
  • Diversity and Social Justice: 33 items purchased

  • Young Adult: 9 items purchased

Average Patron Visits by Weekday

Average weekday visit statistics are as follows:

  • Monday: 276 visits​
  • Tuesday: 269 visits​
  • Wednesday: 305 visits​
  • Thursday: 270 visits​
  • Friday: 95 visits​

Open Hours with Students Present

  • Downstairs: 76.26%​
  • Computer Lab: 52.83%
  • Upstairs: 90.52%

Total Patron Visits per Day

A few key data points are called out in the graph:

  • The highest number of patron visits was 709, in mid-May 2026, followed by 643 at the beginning of April 2026, then 533 at the end of September 2025.
  • The average for the year overall was 243 patron visits per day.​
  • Summer is the only quarter to remain entirely below average.

Items Read via Databases per Month

The highlights are as follows:

  • The two highest counts are in November 2025 (2,698 items read) and May 2026 (2,532 items read).
  • The two lowest counts are in September 2025 (99 items read) and December 2025 (707 items read).
  • The counts for the individual databases fluctuate throughout the year at different times, but Infobase and EBSCO have the highest overall averages.
  • The average per month is about 1,430 items read.​
